Supportive labor and delivery services
Your journey to parenthood begins even before you become pregnant. We offer a range of prenatal services for parents-to-be, including personalized tours of our birthing suites.
The Mom's Place tour
An important part of prenatal care is familiarizing yourself with where you'll give birth. To help you learn what to expect during your stay at The Mom's Place, we've set aside a special time to meet with parents-to-be in small groups called welcome visits.
Welcome visits are convenient and free, typically lasting around 90 minutes. We recommend receiving the tour of The Mom's Place when you're 16-24 weeks into the pregnancy. To respect all families in attendance, these visits are not appropriate for children under 15 years of age.
To find out more about The Mom's Place Tour, call us at (603) 663-6667.

Labor and delivery
The Mom’s Place is a family-centered birth center where you and your baby are provided compassionate care. Our family-centered philosophy means your baby is with you right from birth. You can expect skin-to-skin bonding while your baby rooms with you and your support person. The Mom's Place birthing suites are designed with you and your family in mind, and provide a private and comfortable space before, during and after your baby arrives.
Our state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) is designed to meet the distinct needs of newborns born as early as 30 weeks. Families become the primary caregivers of their infants as they collaborate and work alongside the healthcare team. In collaboration with a team of Dartmouth Health Children's neonatologists and advanced practice providers, we provide high quality medical expertise to monitor, treat and care for newborns requiring intensive care.
