Expert Diagnosis, Treatment and Interventions

The New England Sleep Center is different from sleep labs because we test for more than just sleep-related breathing disorders. These sleep disorders may range from insomnia and parasomnias—such as sleepwalking and night terrors—to sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome or narcolepsy.

Individualized treatment plans, both non-surgical and surgical, include:

  • Bi-level airway pressure
  • Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy
  • Home sleep studies
  • Medication therapy
  • Referral for oral specialties
  • Referral for surgery
  • Sleep hygiene education

We also coordinate care with home care agencies to ensure you receive proper therapeutic equipment to treat your sleep disorder.

State-of-the-art sleep study technology

A sleep study is often prescribed to determine your specific sleeping disorder. This observational time enables the physician to effectively diagnose the problem, its underlying causes and offer treatment options that will work for you.

All the comforts of home

The Sleep Center is conveniently and comfortably located at the Holiday Inn on Brown Avenue in Manchester. Each of our six spacious rooms has:

  • Access to indoor pool, jacuzzi, workout room, restaurant and business center
  • Comfortable beds
  • Flat screen HD TV
  • High-speed internet
  • Microwave & refrigerator
  • Private baths

You are welcome to bring a few personal items to help you feel at ease during your sleep study.

Meet our sleep team

The Sleep Center conducts sleep studies administered by highly-trained technologists at our facility. The data gathered from the sleep studies is interpreted by our board-certified sleep medicine physicians. We take this information and develop a personalized treatment plan in collaboration with you.

The New England Sleep Center is under the medical direction of a certified sleep specialist physician and includes a multidisciplinary care team including neurologists, pulmonologists, respiratory therapists and sleep technologists. Together, with advanced computer-based technology, this team diagnoses and effectively treats complex sleep disorders. They use noninvasive, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to determine the source of your sleep disturbance, before designing your treatment plan.

Insurance coverage and referrals

Sleep studies and consultations are usually covered by insurance, and the New England Sleep Center accepts most major insurance. Please contact your insurance provider for pre-certification and referral requirements.
