Leading-edge cancer diagnostic services

The earlier your cancer is detected, the better. Our state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services allow our physicians and surgeons to get the information they need to get you the care you need. We are a Designated Lung Cancer Screening Center, using low-dose computed tomography (CT) to help detect lung cancer early, when it’s most treatable.

Surgical care

Should you require surgery, we have some of the most experienced surgeons in the area. We were also the first hospital in the region to use an advanced robotic surgical system, which has been used to successfully treat a variety of cancers.

Infusion therapy

Infusion therapy is a critical component of cancer care, providing intravenous, injection or epidural medications when oral treatments are not sufficient. This therapy is often used for cancer treatment, managing dehydration and addressing gastrointestinal disorders. At our infusion suite, which is part of the Dartmouth Cancer Center, you can receive world-class care close to home. The center takes a holistic approach, offering yoga, mindfulness, nutrition classes and therapies like music, massage and art to treat not just the disease but also the body, mind and spirit.

Dedicated inpatient cancer care

If you need inpatient cancer treatment, you can stay at the Murphy Unit. The Murphy Unit provides medical and surgical care and focuses on most forms of cancer treatment, pain management and palliative care.
